Election Information

Polls are at Lisbon High School Gym for all Lisbon and Lisbon Falls voters.

Absentee and Early Voting will end at 4:30 pm on Thursday, October 29, 2026. Special Circumstance Applications will be available at the Town Clerk's Office after the Absentee and Early Voting period ends.

Absentee Ballot Applications are now available for the November 3, 2026 Elections. Voters can request a ballot for themselves either over the phone by calling 207-353-3000 x112 during normal business hours or by visiting the Town Clerk's Office. You can also request one online (external site) during statewide elections.

• Lisbon's polling place is the Lisbon High School gymnasium, and polling hours are from 7 am until 8 pm
• Absentee Ballot Applications can be taken 90 days prior to an Election. Applications are now available for the November 3, 2026 election.
• Voters may cast an absentee ballot at the Town Office until closing on the Thursday prior to Election Day, then by Special Circumstances until 8:00 PM on Election Day.
• Absentee ballots may be requested by the voter over the phone. However, if you are requesting a ballot over the phone and also planning to return your ballot through the mail, please request your ballot early enough to allow 2 to 5 days for postal service delivery time each way.

• You may return your ballot by mail (please note: additional postage is required), by depositing it in the secure Drop Box at Town Hall, or by bringing it to the Town Clerk's Office in person.
• We recommend you return your absentee ballot before Election Day. Remember: All ballots must be returned to the municipal clerk no later than 8 pm on Election Day. For additional information visit the State of Maine website (external site) .

Accessible Electronic Absentee Ballots are available through the State's online absentee ballot request site. This feature is only available during statewide elections. The following procedure will be used for accessible electronic absentee ballots for a voter:

• Step 1: The Voter requests an accessible absentee ballot and gives the Clerk their email address.
• Step 2. The Clerk provides IVS with the Voter's name and district.
• Step 3: IVS generates a ballot.
• Step 4: The Clerk emails the voter the ballot with instructions.
