Nomination Process
Nomination petitions and declared write-in candidacy paperwork will be available 100 days before Election Day.
Nomination petitions must be returned to the Town Clerk's office by 4:30 pm on the 60th day prior to an Election Day. If the 60th day falls on a Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Maine legal holiday, or a day that the Town Office is closed for business, the filling date shall be the next regular business day.
Nomination petitions require between 50 and 75 signatures from registered voters in the Town of Lisbon.
Declared write-in candidacy paperwork must be filed 70 days before Election Day.
