Each year, the Lisbon Police Department responds to thousands of calls for service, ranging from emergency incidents and criminal investigations to traffic enforcement, community outreach, and proactive policing initiatives. Investigations can take hours, days, or even weeks to complete, depending on the complexity of the case. Behind each call number is often significant time spent interviewing witnesses, collecting and reviewing evidence, preparing reports, and coordinating with prosecutors or partner agencies. This work, while not always visible to the public, is critical to achieving thorough and professional outcomes.
