The Town Council appoints planning board members for a 3-year staggered term. Special meetings, site visits, and hearings may be scheduled at other times. Cancellations and changes can occur, however every attempt is made to post meeting changes or cancellations on this website calendar as they occur.
The Board maintains the Comprehensive Plan and develops and maintains all other land use ordinances. It also reviews subdivisions and conditional use applications and other items as may be required by state law, town charter and it's own bylaws. Applications to be reviewed must be received by the close of business on the Thursday (or last regular working day) at least one week before the next regular or specially scheduled meeting.
